Default 29-2 1970s

I have two 1970s 29-2s. Both blued. One 6 1/2 inch and a 8 3/8. I just picked up a new 29-10 for range use because the 29-2s are in pristine condition. I thought the new 29 classics had round butts but I was wrong. I don't feel like taking the safe apart to check the 29-2s so could someone tell me if they have a square butt or round. Thanks, Mike
