Default Stag Added to 29-2

So I sent my shooter grade 29-2 off to Nelson Ford for some work along with my 442-1. This was after he did amazing work on my 19-5.

After years of use with the previous owner, and now me, she became loose and started having timing issues, shaving some lead.

Now I have her back, she locks up tight, the trigger is way better and she is as good as new in my opinion.

I celebrated by adding some dark stags with a bk adapter to replace the ahrend etro targets I had on there.

It looks great:

Here she is with the rest of the Smith and Wesson clan:

Interesting set of stag grips. I like the dark grain in them. What type of antler are they from?

This is what the seller said about them: This is some very old antler that I think must've been over someones fireplace for the past 50 years or so. Very dark, black color to them.

That is why I bought them, they were unique looking.

I have no idea. I am not an expert. They both feel similar and have similar texture qualities when inspected under a loupe.

Here are some closeups (best I can do)maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in.

At any rate, I liked the way they look and feel so I'm happy.
