Welcome to the Forum

You Dad's revolver was manufactured in 1981

Nice little snubby, ... and welcome to the Forum. I would encourage you to take that gun to the range and try it out. The recoil might be a little snappy and you may wish to try different grips or add a Tyler T-Grip (or equivalent) to the gun for better handling. The T-Grip is a curved plastic insert that fits between the back of the trigger guard and the front of the grips to give one more to hang on to. In any event - enjoy!

Jerry
