Default Estimate date of manufacture Model 57-2
I am looking for an estimated date of manufacture for my model 57-2. Serial # N324XXX, 41 Magnum, 6" Barrel, and has Hand Ejector Post War Adjustable Sights. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Steve.

With just the serial number, the closest we can get (according to the SCSW) is 1975 - 1976. They list serial numbers in 100K blocks. N300,000 to N400,000 is 1975 - 1976.

If you have the original box, we may be able to tell more from the label.

Your Model 57 (not a -2 that dates to the 1980s) probably shipped in mid-1976.
