Default Buying revolvers

So after many years away from shooting I got back into it last year. Had a few different handguns and rifles. Got a couple new rifles and started looking at pistols and revolvers. Didn't really see many new guns I liked.
Already have some cool pistols and always liked Smiths. Only had one from the old days, a Bill Davis 65(my avatar), so I figured I'd find some older ones.
I bought a copy of SCSW for reference. Found another original 65, a 28, a couple J's & K's. Still don't know which ones I like the best. Thought I'd get a snub, maybe another N frame. Then I stumbled across this at my LGS.
A p&r model 66. Didn't have one so I picked it up. It's a little worn but the price was right. When I get it out of jail I'll get it cleaned up and get some better pictures, maybe some wood too.

Nice. I'd loose the rubber grips and find some nice wood stocks, either original or aftermarket, depending on hand size and your personal preference. The stainless 66 ought to clean up nicely.

Congratulations! It looks like it has plenty of potential. Certainly a decent price. I have a 66-2 2.5". It is a good shooter. Make sure you keep us updated. Bob
