This may be the prettiest gun I own!! Pics added!!
This 4" Model 12 arrived today. I'm going to say that it has never been fired.
It is from 1980. The finish on the stocks feels "new" also!!
Best,
Charles

Pics would be nice.
Yep the pics show a like new gun.
I bought a Colt MKV that was said to be un fired and it does look like it or at least not often. I don't know if I am going to hold out and not shoot it or not. I am guessing I will end up shooting it.

Looks like a sweet shooter, congrats.
I have a 17-4 from 1980 and the finish is pretty nice, but the cylinder flute cutter must have been dull and it left crevices that were too deep to fully remove, so it has unattractive lines under the bluing. The barrel also has some machining lines not fully removed. It's extremely well built and shoots like a laser, just happens to be a poorer example in the finish department.
Yours looks great though.

Congrats, Charles.
That's a beauty. You know what happens after you buy your "prettiest one ever," right?

Good to hear, there for a little while I was worried about your mental state. Was afraid it might be permanent and that could happen to me. hardcase60
