Came by this 57 no dash recently. As I am starting to box up my stuff I managed to bury my SCSW, so I will have to wait a bit before I get an approximate date of manufacture.
The revolver was clean inside and out. I'd say that it is a solid 99% pretty easily. When I took it apart to smooth out the trigger some, there was almost no residue. However I could tell that it was fired a little, maybe 2-300 rounds or so. I don't mind a fired revolver that was taken care of. It just means that I don't have to worry about the internal battle of keeping something a safe queen. I do also have the presentation case and all paperwork too.
Swapped grips for some factory smooth targets that I have such a weakness for. Hopefully soon I can get it out and put a few rounds downrange with her. As for now, taking some insurance photos is all I've done with it so far.
Thanks for letting me share her with you!
