I've added some pictures. It is the 2.5" and as you can see, other than a few blems on the cylinder, it's immaculate. Lockup is very tight, double action trigger is at 8lbs and single action at 4lbs. It does have plain adjustable sights and pachmyer finger groove grips.
It might be a police sting operation. A 2.5", Model 19-3 even with a nickel refinish and ugly stocks for $375.00 OTD is a trap. Just kidding, but you are committing theft. LOL hardcase60
1. No N on the rear face of the cylinder nor on the left side of the grip frame.
2. Plating on the hammer and trigger.
3. Possible plating on the extractor star (I'm not positive of this, but it appears to be the case from your picture).
If you were to show us the right side of the gun, I'll bet we would see a gap around the edges of the sideplate.
As others have stated, you still did well at that price for a nice shooter grade Combat Magnum.
No its a round butt. But the hammer, trigger, ejector star and even the rear sight look to be nickel or chrome plated. On an original would have these parts in blue even on a factory nickeled gun. $375 is still pretty darn cheap though!

I removed the picture of the serial and added a picture of the right side.
Sousana, for $375.00 you did real well. Give that guy a good deep cleaning, including a wipe down with Flitz, followed up with a thin coat of wax and you'll be good to go.
Definitely more gap there that when the sideplate was originally fitted. Not nearly as bad as some I've seen. However, it does disclose evidence of polishing from the refinish work.

GREAT advice, thanks. I'm primarily a semi auto type. 47 years on the 1911, while I do have revolvers in my collection from the Colt Python pistol packs to every model from S&W, Ruger and other Colts and loads of SAA from various makers, the 1911 is my bread and butter.
I've been considering having the 19-3 refinished, and since this nickel is aftermarket, I'm leaning to sending it off to Metaloy Industries for their hard chrome satin finish, which I use exclusively on my competition and carry weapons.
Jump on it! Great gun. I have a 19-4 nickel 2 1/2". Shoots great and looks great. Mine also has some wear. It's just a great shooting and looking gun that makes and excellent gun for the range or for carry.
