Default Need help with K frame grips

Hello, I just purchased a pair of factory combat grips for my 2.5" 19-4. I was told that the grips are for RB K/L frames. When I attached the grips to my gun, I noticed that the wood protrudes quite a ways from the frame. Could these grips actually be for an N frame? If so, I would need to know soon so that I can return them. Also, both sides are dished out for a speed loader. Has anyone seen this before on combat grips? Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rich

Return them. They are so far off, they must be N-frame. I had the same thing happen to me years and years ago. I bought grips at a gun show marked K-frame and the tops fit like yours. I ended up just throwing them out (I know I should have kept them or sold them, but it made me happier to throw them out -- as hard as I could).

Yea what Ashlander said ,they definitely aren't for your gun .I have never seen the speed loader cut out on both sides though .

I would be curious to see a picture of the entire grip, if possible.

That may help others tell you what you have and the wood looks a little different than most of the S&W Combat grips that I have seen.

Thanks.

I have a bad feeling you may find the only K frame item in those pictures is your model 19.
A further thought is the 19 is the only authentic Smith&Wesson item.

The grip's wood looks "off ", as well as the medallions.
