29-2 outer cardboard question
Does anybody have a picture of the outer cardboard shipping box on a 29-2 from the early to mid sixties? Did they have the end label with info or just the serial written on it?

In late 1960 (November) only the serial number was written on the outer cardboard carton in black grease pencil. By March 1963, an end label was present. I don't know when the change was made.
