Default 15-2 Question

I recently acquired a 1963 vintage 15-2 in pretty decent shape ,some wear at end of barrel ,target hammer & trigger.Was TT &TH available or replaced ? Almost no bluing left on ejector rod ,what would cause that ? Yes,I know there should be pictures. Thanks a bunch

There are examples of the Model 15 in both configurations over the years

Wear. It happens.

And yes. Some came with TT and TH. This one did - target stocks too!

Another one with the target hammer and trigger (and trigger stop). I got no idea if it originally came this way or someone added them, but I suspect it was just shipped this way. It wasn't unusual to see them in the case in this configuration.





S/N indicates 1966. Again, no idea if the diamond target grips are original or not.

The ejector rod wear comes from shooting it and ejecting empties.

Love those Model 15's. I have one and really enjoy it. A Model 15-3 that shipped in 1970. In fact I got it off of this forum.
