"Mod 66-2"............. is a Model 66 ...... -2 is the third variation ... which eliminated the recessed chambers and pinned barrel.

Nice gun; it's the stainless steel version of the Model 19 introduced as the Combat Magnum in 1955....... the Model 66 was added in; IIRC 1970. The -2 about 5-6 years later.............................. barrel lengths were; 2 1/2, 4 and 6 inch

The AHW2545 is the serial number. The MOD 66-2 is the model

BY THE EJECTOR ON THE SWING ARM 59273

The 59273 is an assembly number and should be matching on the yoke (swing arm), the frame and under the side plate. Since these parts were fitted to each other, they are numbered so that they can go back together after the finish is applied.

Under the grips additional stamps circled R 7566 and B21

These numbers are fitter and assembler numbers and have no meaning outside the factory

Grand general-purpose revolver. A real all-weather working gun.

Welcome to the forum. As others have said it is a model 66. It was and still is a very popular model in 357 Magnum. Many cops carried one on or off-duty when their agencies allowed them. When I was a Private Investigator I carried a 2 1/2" 66-2 which my wife now has for her gun. You have a keeper there. There are few revolvers by any manufacturer that is as popular as the 66. Rust resistant (not rust proof), 6 shots, 357 Magnum/38 Special, medium size; not much more to ask for in a true working gun. Enjoy it, take care of it and should you ever need it for defensive purposes it will take care of you.
