Correct stocks 629 no dash
i bought a 8-3/8” no dash 629 TT TH P&R probably 30 years ago. I can’t remember what stocks it had when I got it used. Probably Pachs. What are the correct stocks. I have a few sets and want to make it “correct”.

So, are the grips on my 4" no-dash the wrong ones??
or did they offer more than one variation of the grips?
(the 4" is second from the bottom)

I believe your 4 incher's Speed Loader Targets belong on a newer 629. Foot Ball Targets like the ones on your 8 3/8" 629 are the correct vintage.

Interesting,,,
IIRC, I have owned that gun since the mid 1980's,, I bought it used.
I did own another 4" in the early 1990's, I could have swapped the grips,,,
Hmmmmmm,, we may never know,, for sure,,,
(NOTE: I did just go look at the 4 and 8 3/8 ,,, they are both -1's)

Correcting your memory of the dash number makes the Speed Loader Targets correct. Dash 1 was elimination of the barrel pin which was done in 1982. I do not know when the first N frame Speed Loader Targets were made but I own a pair dated 1984.
