Default Going price for a M34-1??

Blue, 2", no box or papers. Excellent condition. What are the variations on a 34-1 that can affect value?
I have a chance to buy one, but have no idea of what I should offer.
( It's actually a little too recent for my liking and not really something I lust after, but if I can get a decent deal, why not? )

In that condition, anything under $600 would be a good deal, IMO. The 2" models are scarcer than the 4".

I think the very last ones had unpinned barrels, which to some would lower the value some. I’d guess about $500-550 as you describe it. Happy bargaining .

Well, the bargaining went quite well. (I'm almost ashamed, but I didn't bargain at all).
I ended up with a Model 34-1, early serial number (1970-71), 2 inch, rebated cylinder, pinned barrel, Excellent Plus condition (no dings, scratches, rub marks, and only a very faint turn line.
He offered it to me for $400.00, so who was I to refuse......

You did very well! I am searching for a 2” model and have lost out on several on GB because my limit was $600. Those went for $625-650. All without boxes. Lots out there at $800+. BUt they dont seem to move at that pricing.
