Nice family.

I'd be curious to know how you dated your Model 36. I'm in the market for a 1972, but the floating J's are really hard to figure since some were shipped as late as '75.

Nice S&W family you got there Charlie Co. A multi-generation S&W family to be very proud of.

If I may, I'd like to share a photo of my little S&W family circle.

Starting at 12 o'clock and going clockwise:
- Model 625-9 "Mountain Gun" in .45 Colt (2006)
- Model 19-3 "Combat Magnum" in .357 Magnum (1974)
- Model 34-1 "Kit Gun" in .22 Long Rifle (1980)
- 4th Model "Pocket Gun" in .32 S&W (188?)
- Model 36 "Chief's Special" in .38 Special (1967-68)
- Model 15-4 "Combat Masterpiece" in .38 Special (1979-80)

Thanks for letting me share my modest S&W family of revolvers.

God bless,
Birdgun

My S&W family consists of:
1896 38 Safety Hammerless 4"
J-Frames:
36-2 2"
49 No Dash 2"
34-1 4"
K-Frames M&P
1902 4" 32-20
17-3 6"
15-2 4"
15-2 2"
12 2"
64-? 4"
L-Frames
686-1 4"
N-Frames
1917 Brazilian Contract 5"
625 Series of 1989 5"
28-2 4"
29-? Classic 8 3/8"
Autos
422 4"
M&P 9c

A few years ago there were lots of J-Frame Snubbies on the market. I picked up 7 or 8, I sold all but the 36 & 49. It seems everybody wants one now! Years ago I had a Eastfield 12 gauge Pump with 30" full choke, it was a dog so off it went!

I also have a pair of Ubirti copies of No.3 Russians 6" in 44 Russian!

My father-in-law walked my bride down the isle with a first year 60, tucked in his cummerbund; We've been a S&W family since I said "I Do"!

No! My F-I-L was the chief's aide and bodyguard at the time. There were 17 LEOs on her side of the isle, all armed, and a couple with what we call BBQ rigs. My side was mostly lawyers and bankers. So it was a theme wedding; Cops & Robbers.
