S&W Model 19-4
Hi all, just wanted to see if you can tell me the time line of the 19-4? I just put grips on it that came off my 686-2 that I have. I gave this gun to a close friend over 30 years ago when he got his carry permit. He recently passed away and his estate passed it back to me. How do you think she looks?

Model 19-4
That's a nice looking Model 19-4. Those are really beautiful Combat Stocks! Your Model 686-2 must be feeling really naked about now!

It's nice that your friend took good care of it and it's nice to see it back home.

Introduced in 1977. Replaced with the -5 in 1982.
