Default Speed Loader Friendly Grips.

I have recently acquired a S&W 14-2 with target grips. My problem is the grips interfere with my speed loaders. Can someone tell me if the Hogue (square butt) grips will solve my problem? I prefer rubber grips but finger grove wood grips are my second choice. Thanks in advance.

The standard Hogue rubber grips
should do the trick. They are much
thinner.

The critical area is, obviously, on the
left top of any grips.

Also check out Altamont's web site.

I recently acquired a 4" 66 to use in IDPA. It came with a Hogue rubber grip on it and I found that it interfered a bit with speed loaders. I had a Pachmayr Gripper laying around for an N-frame that i no longer have so I put it on to check it out. I found it was much easier to use the speed loaders. A buddy had some unwanted rubber grips so he gave them to me to take my pick. These were all proper K-frame grips. Pachmyr Gripper and large and small presentation. The Grippers are what I have on my 66 now.
