Model 29-2 Nickel
Picked up this 44 Magnum Model 29-2 with serial number N68133, it appears to be nickel and has a yellow front sight. Can anyone give me the history on this gun?

Welcome to the Forum.
Can you post pictures? It is from the 1969-1972 era.

This gun looks like new and appears not to have been fired very much. It has a 6 1/2 inch barrel as well.

This was your original post on it.
Were it mine I might spring for a factory letter to see if the Rosewood stocks and yellow insert were special ordered on it.
Need Help Identifying this Gun

Been discussed on this forum before. Seems it could be factory, not done often.
Worth a letter on it, meh, not really.

Your 29-2 dates to late 72 or early 73. The yellow ramp front sight and plain rosewood target stocks are possibly original, but are most likely aftermarket changes. Only a letter of authenticity will tell you if they are original or not.
