Based on the photos, your revolver is a 1950 Army .45 with a five-screw frame. In in 1957, it became the Model 22. It would have been shipped with diamond Magna stocks. The Model 22 was discontinued in 1966 after 3976 revolvers were produced.

That gun is a bit scarce these days and worth a few bucks.

Check to see if it is one of only 200 of them that were chambered in .45 Colt

THAT would be a RARE find and quite exciting.

Chances are it is the standard .45 ACP - but you never know!

Too bad that it is missing the original numbered grips. Either way, it is a great find.
