Appraisal Help: Texas Rangers Set S&W Model 19-3

Hello,

I am seeking an expected appraisal/private sale value for this set, as I am considering selling this soon to make room for something new.

It is a Texas Rangers commerative set including a felt lined wood box, S&W model 19-3 revolver chambered in .357 magnum, and a S&W bowie knife.

The revolver has not been fired; everything is in excellent condition.

The revolver is pinned, recesses in the cylinder, and bluing is 100%. I believe the 19-3 is from the 1970s.

Interested in what price range I could expect in a sale.

I believe the estimate by Club Gun Fan is about right. For comparison, there are two currently for sale (that I know of) in the range of $1350 to $1500, but there is no interest at these prices.

There's an 19-3 unfired set like that in a local Cabelas gun library in the presentation case plus the 2 blue cardboard boxes for the revolver and the knife.

They are asking $1,199 for it and have had it a while.
