67 no dash
I just picked up a 67 no dash with a stainless rear site in very nice condition. I was wondering if anyone knows how rare they are. and maybe a price point on what it might be worth.
thanks

I would not call them rare with SS
sights though they are first production 67s.
Without any trouble I've laid my hands
on two of them. And quite a few are
shown from time to time on Gunbroker.
As to price, I know what I paid but maybe
too much or too little depending what
"experts" on this forum say. And condition
is everything.
It's what was or is of value to you.

Condition is more important than the stainless rear sight however the S&W Standard Catalog 4th Edition says the stainless rear sight first year guns are worth an extra $100. Generally see nice 67s in the $400-$500 range where I shop so maybe up to $600 for a really nice first year one. Good luck.
