I need a set of checkered Target grips for a 1979 model 19-4 357 mag. In my shopping I find some grips listed for a K or L frame and some listed for just the K frame. I want to make sure I get the right grip, did the K and L frame use the same grip or should I just look for the K grip alone? it is the square frame.

Same grip size - K & L. Most are marketed as simply K Frames.

If the stocks are for your engraved Model 19-4, you would want smooth, target stocks.
