Model 66-2
Just saw a 66-2 4” at a California LGS. Clean throughout. Slight holster wear left side muzzle. Is $675 too much to pay? No p/r

In any place but California, I would say YES.
Ask yourself two questions. When could I find another, in the state of California? If I located another what would the price be?
If it were me, and I wanted the revolver and could afford it, I'd buy it.

That is a fair price.
There seems to be a number of nice 66s going begging on GB right now. It seems to be a buyers market.
I have three of them that I'd like to sell but I don't want to give them away.

I have 6 Model 66's. One 2.5", Two 3", Two 4" and One 6". Don't think I'd take $675 for any of mine. Seeing less and less Model 66's for sale.

If it's in good shape, 675 is a great price for California. Being stainless, I don't see where any holster wear would matter at all. I'm surprised you even see any.

I would have to agree that $675 is a little high but not for California.
I paid less a couple years ago but lately the others I've seen around here are 750 or more. Offer them less but pay it if you want it. Good luck.

M66-2 recent purchase
Here is a nice 66-2 I picked up on GB recently, it was $575 before associated cost. I could have waited a long, long time to find one locally. I would agree that it is a buyers market with the 4" barrel but the better the condition the quicker the price climbs. This one is gun only as I am not a collector of boxes.
