Default Bought some grips. What were they on originally?

Just bought these. Stamped serial number is 84843.

Am I correct in assuming that they were originally on a 1968 D series K frame?

(I'm pretty sure I got the "K frame" part right!)

Thanks for your input and knowledge.

If you're wrong, try them on a M-27 or M-28.

With nothing to compare for size in the photo, I can't tell if they're for K or N frame guns. But the panels are marked K, so...

Probably on a Model 15, as the edges aren't the rounded "plainclothes" sort usually shipped on Model 10. Model 14 also had those grips, but many were seen with target grips, too.

They are likely from the 1K to 5K prefix Target sighted K frames (flat bottom and blue stock disc, used from 1970 to about 1973), but narrowing down a specific year is not possible (unless you also have the gun and are not telling us ).
