Default Model 63 Price check & difference

Hi folks, I have been looking for a Model 63 2 1/2 " for a while now and I have run across 2 that are described as NIB. I haven't seen either of them yet but I have a question on the difference and what a fair price should be.

Both are Model 63-3s BUT one has got an open ejector rod and the other one is got the ejector rod covered. The open model is said to be a Lew Horton edition while the covered ejector rod one is described as a factory edition.

Should there be any price (worth?) difference between these two variations and if you were looking for one which one would you prefer.

2 incher's normally run in the $650 to $700 range. The only closed ejector rod 63's I'm aware of are the current 3" 63's and the no longer produced 5".
