older model 36
Today I found and laidaway a 36 with a flat latch and diamond grips.the ssn is 350xxx.gun has small amout of holster wear on it.

Congratulations as they are a classic and I think yours was made around 1963 or 1964 as the flat latch ended in 1966.

Sounds to be a 1963 or '64 shipped gun. It needs to wait 15 years or so to retire with that "ssn"  .

there was a flat latch 32 long snubby beside it last week but today it was gone.
