Default M53 .22 Jet

Local gun shop, Ben's in Renton, Wa. has a M 53 .22 Jet for sale. Looked like it was in very good shape. $ 1199.00 I think was the asking price. And no I don't work there I just spend money there. Just wanted to pass this along. Hope it's OK here.

Default M53 Jet

Sounds fair to me if has 22 inserts or a fitted 22 cylinder. They're pricey but unique. If you get it, make sure the Jet cylinder is perfectly dry. They'll back out if not. I'd love one!

That's not a bad price. There's a pawn shop down in Sumner that had one about a year ago, about 85%, for $1500. I am willing to bet it's still there at that price.

Both Ben's and Pinto's right around the corner in Renton have very good prices on older guns. I've bought some from both, though more from Pinto's due to their weekly email program. My prewar K22 and 624 Lew Horton were quick snap-ups from Pinto's via that list. Now I live just a bit too far away to make that work.
