Default 65-3

Don't know if I have the right page, please let me know if I need to go somewhere else.

I want to know the value of a S&W revolver, model 65-3. Stainless 357 mag. I think it has an interesting serial #, it's AMD1000. Can someone help? Thanks, Bernie

The value will depend on the barrel length. I just purchased a 65-3 3” for $550 serval months ago and I thought I did very well.

Mine is a 4" barrel. The serial # is interesting to me, can you tell me anything about it?

I'd guess $450-500 depending on condition and if grips are original would help value a little to some. According to Standard Catalog of S&W AMD serial number your gun shipped in 1984

In about 1983, S&W began transitioning all revolver serial numbers to a common series with three letters followed by four digits. No longer would different models carry different serial sequences.
