Wow, but did you happen to notice that deep scratch across the under lug???
Neither did I...
That's a work of art.
Best regards,

That certainly looks like a nice specimen! Like the stump pictures. I am not that creative. I have a 6" blue 29-3, and a 4" nickel 29-2. Haven't shot the -2 yet. Bob

Very nice ! An excellent piece to be roaming the wilds of Canada with.
I think I’ll move the 8” 29 a little farther up my list, right after I find that elusive , reasonably priced 4”

That long barrel makes it one of the more elegant guns that S&W ever produced. Beautiful, just beautiful...
Congrats and thanks for sharing,

When I cast my eyes on my 29-2 8 3/8" in the gs, it had to come home with me. That is a fine example, congrats! I bet it took your breath away when you first saw it - mine did. Great job on the photography.

Wow, it's a blue one. I think over half of all the post-war nickel guns Smith made were M29's. Hardly ever see a blue one from the 1970's.

That is one beautiful revolver and great photos also. I am a big fan of the 8 3/8" barreled S&W's.

Now that’s TWO of the nicest Model 29s anyone could ever hope to come across you have.
What a nice pair. Congratulations!
