With both inserts and the extra cylinder...that's a winner!

What is the length on that barrel, and what are the inserts for? Are they converters to allow you to fire .22lr ammo in a .22 Jet?

Now I see it says 22 Magnum on the barrel - is that a “.22 Jet” or what model is that exactly?

The barrel length is 8 3/8".

Yes, the inserts are to allow the user to fire .22 l.r. cartridges.

The hammer is designed to adjust for center fire or rimfire.

This is a Model 53. Also known as the Jet.

Exclamation

Bruce,

That nickel 53 is just plain beautiful!!

I was searching in my safe a few days ago and came across my blue Model 53 with an 8 3/8" barrel. I have ammo dies, brass, bullets etc and still haven't shot it. Time's a wasting!
