I have a .38 model 36 serial #2336xx. Looking for a DOB. Thank you.

If there is no J in front of the serial number it looks like 1960 to 1961.

Welcome aboard from Wyoming.
Nice looking square butt with a flat latch and diamond stocks. I'd put it from late '61 to early '62.
Be careful! Old Chiefs can be habit forming.

Probably Jul/Aug time frame 1961.
