1970 K-22 full target with an 8 3/8th barrel

Just arrived yesterday. I've been looking for a long barreled K-22 with full target accessories and a Gold Bead or Red Post front site. I got this one off GB for $720. I put in my maximum bid and turned the computer off. The next day I found out that I won and I almost did a backflip (but I'm too old for that and would have spilled my coffee)
When it arrived, I lite up a premium cigar and went out back in a drizzle near dusk and sighted it in at 25 yards.
Today I played with it some more at 40 yards and found out it likes CCI standard velocity and of all things, Winchester Expert HP. The Aquila shoots to the left. It's as ammo particular as some of my 22 rifles. The rain came again and cut my session short. I've got a few more brands to try tomorrow. Made my week.

Congrats on that fine looking k22. Most people seem to regard the long barrel as being to big or unwieldy but their price usually don't show it. My 17-3 8 3/8" is my favorite . Happy shooting!
