Default Model 67-1 price?

I saw the above in the LGS todayinned barrel, red ramp, white outline rear sight, mag as, and real nice barrel. The mag as we're really beat up, though. The right one had the checkering worn flat perhaps from carry wear. Both grips were dented and chipped at the bottom enough that I'd say they were probably PC types. The asking price was $499. That seemed high to me? Am I wrong?

Regards,
Tecolote

Offer $450 or $425 because you see a need
to replace or get a new set of stocks.

That is if the gun itself is in nice shape with
good timing, etc. Your description seems that
it is.

The stocks may not go with the gun but were
put on when a nicer pair were "saved" by the
seller before sale to the LGS. The stocks on the
gun sound like something taken from a beater
police trade-in.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I was thinking. Although I am really leaning toward an early or pre-model 15. I'll have to do some cogitating...

Personally, I'd wait to get a Model 15.

The 67s are fine guns .....

.....to me the Model 15 is the real deal.
