I know of at least 3 old model 10-5's floating around here lately. They are marked NY DOC, which I assume is New York, Dep't of Corrections. They seem nice, I have seen 2 of them and a pic of another. They are priced in the $350 range. One shop was offering a shiny black leather holster with it.
Anyone know what distributor is offering them? I would have thought all old service revolvers were sold off years ago. Did someone find these while Spring house cleaning? Where have they been all these years? If they have been in the prison system, it would be interesting to know where. Sing Sing, Riker's Island? Some famous bad guys went through there.
