19-4 blued 2 1/2" value
Been a long time since i bought anything but a gun i always wanted is for sale from a local seller. 1981 mfg no box or papers the guy said its 95% he sent me some pics and it looks better than 95% can't really see any blueing loss. Has a turn line thats noticeable and small scratch on the barrel only issue for me is he wants $700 firm , seems like $200 to high but i don't know what here going for lately.

Around here in the Commonwealth.
That is about what they are going for. The 2.5" model 19s are pretty highly sought after guns. If you want it I would say to go for it. It might be a long time before you see another one for sale.

My favorite 19 is the 2.5” -4. If it’s 95% or better, $700 is a fair price in the west.

They start at 700.00 for one in that condition in my area. Just do not see many. Mine has been one of my favorite carry guns and shoots lights out.

That is actually a pretty good deal considering what they are selling for now...I've seen them consistently selling for $850-900.

I have 2 Model 19's and paid about 750 each. Looks like you are in the ballpark with $700.

well, after 40 years things have changed. Really, if the revolver is in a good condition as the O/P thinks it is, $700.00 is not a deal but is a fair price. About a year ago I paid almost $1,000.00 for a 99% condition 2 1/2" model 19-4. I know I overpaid, but had not seen one that clean for sale in a long time. At my age I rather spend my time shooting instead of shopping for a smoking deal.

Around here in the Peoples Socialist Republic of Oregon that would be a pretty fair price. They just don't show up very often and when they do are a lot closer to $900+

My thoughts exactly. Little more now and shoot now. All of my over paid guns are now worth more than what I paid. I really do not care about that much though. I just want to have fun shooting while I can.
