Ugliest grips ever?
I really admire and appreciate fine vintage stocks and have started several threads about that very topic.
When I saw these on a popular auction site, I about fell off the couch. Yes, someone is actually trying to sell them. I’ll let the pictures do the talking .......
At least the bottoms are in pretty good shape!

Very rare grips, made by the Alvin Grip Co . of Chipmunk, VT.

Those stocks have some history. Could of belonged to a roofer, a cowboy repairing fences or a deputy tacking up wanted posters.

While I very much appreciate “honest wear”, these are in another category.
And btw, bidding is at $11.95.

Well, since someone actually bid on them, I guess that proves the adage, “you can sell anything on eBay.”
Is there a “Rat Rod” category of firearms I know nothing of? (!)

And perhaps the medallions and washers are salvageable, also!

I had a set that was almost that ugly. I got them cheap off ebay, and knew they were ugly, but they were even uglier than the pictures showed.
I must have thrown them away, because I don't see them anymore.

That pair of grips, is a good example of tool abuse. How their their tools were used, gives a very good indication of the former owners' character. A lot can be learned, about a person by looking at their tools. I wouldn't want the former owner of those grips, around my family. That is my 2¢ worth, about those grips.

Ugliest?
How can they be in the running for ugliest without being partially wrapped in electrical tape? Or better yet, duct tape?
