Default 1975-1976 Model 10-5 Snub, Nickel

Found this Model 10-5 in a small Sanford, NC gun shop today and had to take it home. Almost passed on it because I prefer round butt grip...but it’s hard to find nickel K Frame snubs with good finish around here. Beautiful gun.

I could not have passed on that one either. Quite nice!

I am not a huge fan of nickel revolvers although I do own a few of them and like them just fine. The only nickel Model 10-5 I own has a 5" barrel and when I saw it locally, I could not resist buying it. Of course it helped that it was offered to me at a fairly good price!

It is a good looker, and would have made me get my wallet out. I have a 10-5 blued round butt. (1974) Now, if I could only find the right 15 snub? Bob

CONGRATULATIONS, THAT IS ONE BEAUTIFUL REVOLVER ! ! !

I'M NO EXPERT OR COLLECTOR, BUT IMHO, A GUN IN THIS EXACT CONFIGURATION WOULD BE SCARCE, IF NOT RARE......

Negotiated this one down to $400 from $450. Really, I would have taken it at $450 upon noticing the ship date. I was born in 1975 and have quite a few revolvers from that year (as far as we can tell from serial number). It looks better than I do at 43. Needs a Tyler T Grip and will go into the carry rotation.
