Default Question about a presentation case

I picked up this Nickel 29-2 from one of the local guns stores last week. My question is about the lining of the presentation case. I don't think I've ever seen one in this color. Can any of you who are far more knowledgeable than I shed any light on this? Is it in fact a color that was put out by S&W? Considering the price I paid (under $800 before tax) I'm not really caring one way or the other... I'm just curious. Serial number places it as a 1980. Thanks in advance for your time.

The inserts have been covered with a black cloth (?) to replace the dark blue synthetic material that deteriorated rapidly. Nearly all of the cases of this vintage had to be covered with a new material. Below is a photo of a case with its original covering.

I thought as much. It's actually a nice deep burgundy. It's quite soft, and feels well padded. Thanks for the reply, Doc.
