Anyone who knows me knows of my ongoing love affair with the Model 27. This one is a beautiful nickel plated 27-2 in new condition in the presentation case with all docs and accessories. I'm sad to let it go but that's the way of the world. Wound is salved a bit by the fact that I sold it for 4X what I paid for it.
This makes four gone and about 15 to go. It's still more fun to buy than to sell.
Was that the one you had listed on GB that sold yesterday? If so, that was a nice one. I had bought one just like that a couple years ago except still unfired except for the factory test rounds for about what you got for yours.
Do you have any 29's in nickel going up for sale soon? I've been looking them over because I am thinking of getting either a 6, 6 1/2 or 8 3/8 nickel 29-2 fairly soon to complement my 629-3 Classic for range play.
I feel your grief. I just let go of a 27-2, with case and tools etc...

I only have a few safe queens and they will all be going soon to finance guns I won't be worried about screwing up the condition on.
