Default Mod 29-2, 1st Range Day

Finally got to the range and put 100 rounds of .44 Spec. through my 29-2. Really accurate but weight tired me out after 100 rounds. Here's a sample target of 25 rds at 15y at a 4" bull.

Model 29s are definitely different than model 36s. A tad heavier for one. Wait until you shoot magnum rounds. If you're getting tired after 100 .44 Special rounds, you'll tire faster with magnum rounds. Take it easy and rest a bit between magnum rounds. Unless you're built like King Kong, you'll have to adjust to the extra recoil. You did well shooting the .44 Specials, nice target!

l prefer specials to magnums.. My 44s seem to like specials over

magnums too. Several of us under 80 may shoot a hundred at the range also..

Even one forum guy with a pogo stick..

Great shooten Chief

Very nice shooting!

The specials in a 29-2 are fun to shoot. Running full-bore JHP loads through one is a totally different beast. The first time I did it I was surprised at the difference.

I’ve shot up to 80 or so full-bore loads in one sitting while testing loads, and it was far more enjoyable running the same amount of specials through it beforehand!
