Grips from Estate Sale ID?
I hope I am in the correct era on the forum I am going by pictures to assume the era
I picked these up at an estate sale in a plastic bin full of odd gun parts They were not in any real packaging but rather in a small box at the bottom of the bin I paid $30.00 for the whole lot which also included other odd parts
Can anyone give me an idea of their era and possible worth
The big ones look a lot like the ones on my 66-2 the 2 smaller look like a J frame type

The target stocks could be either K/L or N frame. The other two pair are also K/L or N size. The ones with the rounded bottoms are called "Plain Clothes" stocks and are post 1968. They were standard equipment for Models 10/13/64/65 revolvers. The other pair are pre-1968 with the diamond around the screw hole. They would be standard equipment on the Models 15/67. If larger (N) size they would fit a Model 27/28/29/57/58, or the stainless steel equivalents. All look to be in nice condition. You made a fine deal.

Some might say you stole them!

You got at least 3 for 1. Or more! Good find!

At least 3 for 1 - you could turn that 30 into 150 quickly maybe more with a little time and effort.

I agree the larger set is either K/L or N frame, from the early-mid 1980s; should be easy to try them on your model 66 to see if they fit.
The PC stocks are for a K frame. The diamond Magnas look a little larger so may be N frame, but it may just be the perspective in the photo. Also easy to try them on your model 66.

Thanks all for the feed back I will try them on this weekend since I have an N frame as well as a K and L
It was just a pure luck thing There were a lot of other stuff in the plastic bin It looked like it must have been owned by a person who was really into gunsmithing The sad part or lucky part for me was that someone had emptied all the draws from one of the screw sorted things and the grips along with several other great items were buried under the mess.
I have more screws and pins and springs than I will ever be able to figure out There were also 3 new original stock forearms for a Winchester 1906 expert wrapped in newspaper
Thanks again everyone

Did you buy a lottery ticket? Those three expert forearms should bring a pretty nice price.
