HELP WITH DATE OF MANUFACTURE 27-2
I picked up a nice 27-2 6 inch, 3Ts, no box or acc. sn N3802XX Any help with build date is appreciated.

Probably 1976? My 27-2 is quite a bit older, not much of a reference point.

Most likely mid to late 1976. I have a 44 Magnum serial numbered in the N353000 range that shipped in September 1976 (for reference).

I found a couple of 27-2 s on Gunbroker that listed serial numbers and build dates for 1978 and 1977. If those are correct, my gun is from 1976. Thanks for all the replies.
