Default Nickled 15-3 2"

I found this factory nickled 15-3 2" today. It's in nice shape. I gave $307.50 OTD for it.

I guess it's a 70s era revolver.

Serial #3K12234

The only "wart" is that some previous owner EPed his initials next to the serial.

You got an excellent buy. Is the EPed initials light enough they could be polished down? Or, would you have to polish through the nickle finish? These are wonderful shooters, I love my blue one, it thinks it's a target gun.

Even with initials, that is close to larceny.

You could always change your name.

It's one of those things that does not really bother me but I thought I should mention since I said what I paid for it because were i to try to sell it some collector would be all over it.

I suspect they could be polished out but then it would just look like, well, they were polished out so I may as well leave them be.

Actually it was half of a two revolver deal. I also got a 3rd model Colt Detective Special in nice shape.

That is a great deal. The initials do not bother me at all.

That's a good find even with the initials. A nice set of exotic wood Hogue grips and that etching disappears.

What year was it made? I figure early 70s.

I have a very nice set of walnut Eagle combat stocks for it but the Magnas just look "right" on it.

I hate you!! Because I always wanted one of those. Especially nickel. And I can barely see the initials. I wouldn't be concerned about anything...except finding some stag grips and a silver t-grip, of course.
