Default Nice Model 12-3

Found this little gem at a local gun shop. It's nothing particularly special, but I appreciated that the nickel finish is in great shape, the original (Model 12 correct) stocks are still on it, and it feels great in hand.

The 9D serial number dates this gun to 1982.

I’ve never seen a Model 12 in nickel – good catch! I had a NIB blued Model 12 over 40 years ago – then foolishly sold it at a loss . I have never found one in good condition since.

Thanks. That's exactly why I scooped it up ... a snub-nosed, nickel plated Model 12 isn't something one comes across every day. And a round-butt K frame at that.

I'll take this to the range at some point, but it will be with light loads. The instruction manual specifically recommends against running +P ammo, so I'll definitely keep things on the light side.
