Model 14 from '68 shoots awesome!
Here is a pic of the target I shot today . Really excited about this one , once in while the load and the gun and sights and all comes together.
This was a two handed hold standing at 15 yards. I'm pleased and at 57 years old with bifocals this is good as it gets for me .
20 rounds in target , the one low and the 3 in the top of 10 ring were called . 197- 8x
125 grn. acme bullet with 3.8 grns. titegroup .
Just a plain ol 14 with the return spring of 11lbs. I tapped the gun for the EGW sight base since I like to see the target .
Thanks for looking Gentlemen ,
Kirk

I love everything except the tapped holes but it's your gun, do as you please. Just got to love a model 14, I have never bought one that isn't a winner. Enjoy

Darned near any 14 is a good shooter unless it has some serious problems. Even mine is, although handicapped by being held by me. I know what you means about the sight - it is really easy to shoot well with my Glock 17 with Aimpoint. The transition to a good presentation has been ugly, and I am still too slow getting on target, but once there it's great.

I'm happy for your fun time at the range. But I'm wondering what all the "shouting" is about . . . It is a K-38! OF COURSE it shoots well. That's what they do.
I own too many of them to shoot all in one range session, but every one shoots well when its turn comes.
Keep on enjoying yours. It will continue to perform as long as you can load the cylinder and squeeze the trigger.

Nice gun, enjoy !!
Actively looking for a nice K-38 to add to my S/W revolver collection, but so far, have not found the "right" one for the right price, but I'm in no rush.
