Congrats on the Model 60....one of my favorites.
If the mechanicals have all checked out OK, you got a great deal on a fine EDC handgun.
I’m sure someone will chime in with a DOB for you.

If you wanted to put a little time into it, grey scotch brite pads will do wonders for putting the finish back to what it was when new ( or at least much closer to it ).

The book lists your revolver serial number somewhere between 1974 and 77. That encompasses serial numbers R1000000 to R190000. I have to guess that's your revolver falls somewhere in 75 or 76.

The Model 60/36 was indeed a wonderful gun. It can fit in a pocket and it packs a punch at point blank range. They were beautifully crafted and a little maligned by those who think they'll explode if one uses +P ammo. Though I wouldn't recommend constant use of such ammo in these little guns, they're fine for limited use. (And standard ammo these days are quite good.)
I have a Rossi 511 revolver with a 3-inch barrel that was made in the mid-80s. It was a clone of the Model 60 and has never been shot. Workmanship is superb and I like the extra inch. I had an earlier one that I sold, and it was accurate and did a great job. The only reason I got rid of it is that I couldn't carry it, and I had another one, which is the one I still have. Living in Maryland, you can have guns, but you can't carry them. If you can, though, these small frame revolvers are great to have when carrying a bigger, heavier gun isn't an option.
They're underrated and can double as a drawer gun if you're not really into guns or are on a limited budget. Years ago I knew a guy who carried one in a paper bag. Don't know why, but he did. Guess you don't have to sweat holster wear that way!

The man carried a gun in a paper bag because people don't expect to find a gun there or in a shopping bag. And it avoids a bulge in one's clothing, which can be important, based on dress and body size.

Those Interarms Rossi revolvers were pretty nice. Not quite as smooth as a good S&W but often half the price.
A No Dash Model 60 for $300 is an excellent deal.

Twenty years ago I bought a NIB Rossi Model 88 clone of the M60 for $188. It was a really nice little revolver, fit and finish almost as good as a 60. Trigger was quite decent, and better after a smith polished the innards. I carried it for a couple of years before buying the J-frame that's my EDC today. Wish I hadn't sold it.
I don't know about recent Rossis, but in those days they were a hell of a bargain.
Of course, the M60 is a gem of the pocket gun breed. You are going to like it a lot. With practice you'll be surprised how accurate it is for a barrel length just under two inches.
