Default mfg date for 66-2

i'm looking for an approximate date for my model 66-2 # ABJxxxx

and also if someone could give me a years when a model 60-15 pro were made. looking to by this one as its a 3" model. The 66-2 is a snubbie and was a good deal at 3 bills, but want to try a 3" barrel. Thanks for any help you can give

Love this sight...S&W is my first revolver and everyone is giving me good info

ABJxxxx looks to be about Nov. ‘82

60-15 production was in 2001 and was the engineering change that brought the dreaded IL (internal lock)

She had a little rust, but a little elbow grease and the stainless polished up nice, looks like a new gun....it's a hoot to fire!
