Model 10-5 snub date help request
I recently acquired this square butt model 10-5 snub. The action and the yoke were pretty stiff. Everything on it feels great after a thorough cleaning. The serial number is D234***. The book indicates that D90001 - D330000 were from 1969 to 1970. I am hoping that someone can help me by narrowing it down to one year or the other.
Thanks in advance and here are the obligatory pictures:

Btw 1968 and 1977 is as much as I can narrow it down. They began the D prefix on Model 10's in 1967 and the 10-7 was released in 1977. I have a D428xx that shipped 5/68.
No help.
Beautiful snubby.

Nice Model 10 snubby.
Looks like the one I just picked up.
I wonder if there was a LEO trade in? I've seen more 10-5
snubs for sale lately than I can recall.

I've also seen a slight increase in availability. I figured it was just cyclical in nature, but you may be onto something.

That's a nice pair. I've had my eye out for a good shooter grade square butt snub for a while and the price on this one was right.

I do not have a square butt M10, just a 15-3 as shown in pic. I cannot tell that it has been fired

I like mine. I've become a fan of the 2" K frames.
