Default 1973 M27-2 value

I am looking at a M27-2, 8 3/8 " 1973 P&R is supposed to be 98%, it is fired, no box or docs. Suggestion on value please?

Target stocks, no target trigger or target hammer
I know we deal in pictures here, but I cannot get one. Beat you to it.

Probably $800-$1000 at 98% where I shop. At least it would be priced there, would just depend how badly the seller wanted to move it. I've got a couple of them about the same age and as described, don't think either one would go for less than $900, if I was selling. Good luck.

Pete it seems odd to me that the gun with an 8 3/8" barrel doesn't have the target hammer and trigger. Personally I wouldn't go past $800 and even that is a bit high. You can usually find the complete package with presentation case, tools, etc. for around $1050 - $1100.

It might seem odd that a 8 3/8 27-2 from '73/'74 doesn't have TT and TH but that's the way more than one of them shipped. The one I have from 1974, which I bought new and still have, did not have TT, TH or target stocks. Does seem odd but some of them definitely left the factory that way.
