Default 29-2 owners manual

Did Model 29-2 owners manuals ever ship in an unfolded state or were they all trifolded from the factory? I know a gentleman who is selling one unfolded that he claims is genuine Smith and Wesson. Thank you.

All the manuals I have ever gotten with S&W handguns were folded. Years ago I did buy a manual from a forum member that was unfolded and had 3 binder holes punched in it so it could be put in a binder. It probably came out of a binder.
